Bank Holiday Freediving

Porthkerris - 24th to 27th August

After the fun of last year, we are heading back to Porthkerris for another bank holiday weekend of diving, camping, drinking, sailing, fishing, more diving, good eating, bit a more drinking, another dive and general fun and frollicks with Bristol Freedivers!
We are camping again at Porthkerris Divers which has spectacular shore diving ranging from shallow to 15m with some really beautiful marine life and rock formations. There is a daytime cafe on site to get some cake and a hot drink after diving.
This year on the Sunday we are heading out on a dive boat
to Fraggle Rock. It is a 2hr trip leaving Porthkerris at 4pm.
It is a really fun site, tunnels under the famous lighthouse
(for those of us old enough to remember Fraggle Rock on TV!).
We can explore the cracks, channels and try the 25m swim
through if you dare!!!

There is a small entrance, at about 8m on a high tide, opening
into a cavern, with a swim of about 10 m long to pop out in a
kelp field. There is also a reef from shallow to about 12m deep.
Cost is £45 and spaces are limited to 10. If you are interested fill in the form below and if more than 10 want to come we will draw names out a hat. Registration deadline end of May.

Divers must be full AIDA 2* or equivalent. If you are not currently qualified but want to come and dive, contact our club Courses Officer who can help organise a course for you with our club instructors.

Let us know you're coming
